Identity.
Sometimes I wonder.
Why are a few people gifted?
As Dostoyevsky rightly said there are very few people original; rest are ignorant / “wise” fools.
Under which category do I fall?
How can I determine that?
And what if (I know this is highly wishful thinking, but ...) I am really original and not realizing it?
What if I never realize this in my lifespan?
I would certainly prefer that over being any type of fool.
Ignorant fools are at least happy. I am calling them Ignorant because they are always in the dark curtain of ignorance.
It simply makes life simple for them.
So is not the case always with wise fools, who know that they are not original.
They desperately fight with the disturbing fact. And fail to accept their mediocrity.
This dilemma causes agony.
But essence of life for majority of population is this “fight against mediocrity” by one means or other.
Often those who successfully emerge out victorious of this arena are again termed as Original.
But Original are those who don’t have to fight this battle in first place.
But I am drifting from the main topic.
What is my status? Do I have originality or am I simply ‘ ‘?
