Most beutifully picturized Songs in Hindi Cinema

This is a limited list. This is not the "TOP 10" or "Must see before you die" type which regularly appear in leading Indian news sites today. Yes, I loathe those lists as much as you do. But let's talk about those lists some other time, shall we?

I've watched a few Bollywood movies. The songs listed here  stood out as far as my Hindi movie knowledge goes.
You might have your own list. In fact the post will serve its purpose if you come up with your own list.
I won't rank these as no.1 or no.2. They're all beautiful for me. For sheer personal preference, I've ranked songs featuring Nutan at the top.
Here we go.
All videos are  attached at the bottom of the post.

तेरे घर के सामने (1963)

तेरे घर के सामने

This is an unbelievably beautiful song. Probably the best romantic song ever pictured. I can't help noticing the creativity of a genius called Vijay Anand. The sheer beauty of the concept of Dev imagining Nutan in his glass of liquer - is just breathtaking. And Nutan looks so adorable that, well I'm literally speechless.
watch for yourself.

Paying guest (1957)

ओ निगाहे मस्ताना

Entire song is beautiful but I can't get enough of last stanza.

Last stanza. Dev has already charmed Nutan and probably all of his audience by now. But watch as he approaches her and whispers gently in her ear. And there's that moment when- Well you'll have to watch it. Dev's mischievous smile and Nutan's expressions at that moment - I can die multiple times just to watch that. Here's the moment when last stanza starts.

कागज के फूल (1959)

वक्त ने किया क्या हसी सितम

If shadows could ever talk to light, they would talk this way. Light and darkness. Vahida Rehman and Gurudatt. The dialogue doesn't take place thru words. They talk thru their surroundings. And then there's a soft gliding voice called Geeta Dutt. Pure Bliss.

स्वदेस (2001)

यूही चला चल राही

For me this is THE Song that symbolizes a journey. It could be a road trip, a train ride, a night drive or even a long walk in the woods. This song captures the essence of  moments  which we call a journey. The weirdo that is Makarand Deshpande and the Gentlemanly looking SRK combine another philosophical dimension. The composition, tempo and mood - all make it a perfect song. Viva Swades.
and oh, - Amazing emotions of homecoming. In spite of SRK being a part of it.

 Dev D (2009)

ओ परदेसी

Imagine you being someone who never drinks. Or never will. Can you experience the feeling of "getting high"?
Yes you can. Just watch this song. And it's not just the tripping camera that will attract you, listen for  the words that tell you the emotions of a long yearning lover who has lost everything- including himself.

लक्ष्य (2004)

लक्ष्य  and Lakshya theme

Title track is Inspiration personified. I have listened to the track infinite times. Most of the occasions have been exam nights, viva times and tough to crack interviews!
It is such an inspirational song, I wonder why Indian cricket team doesn't make it mandatory in dressing room.
Laskhya Theme is a stunning camera work.

नौ दो ग्यारह (1957)

हम है राही प्यार के

Vijay Anand is highly underrated. You don't have to look far to know why. Check out the imagery in this song. More than that, the tune goes in sync with the visuals being shown. As the mood of the song changes brilliantly, visuals depict it and S D Burman changes the tempo of the song to match it.
This is a jugalbandi of Vijay Anand's camera and S D Burman's music.

Jewel thief's ये दिल ना होता बेचारा  falls in the same Category, Hence I'm listing it here.
Burman Da has even supplied the Honk as part of his music :) Beat it.

 Yes boss (1997)

सुनिये तो!

The crafty and funny SRK rocks. Stitched scenes carry the fun in most amazing manner. The fantastical settings convey perfect mood change. I wonder why no one attempted exaggeration and comedy collages more, this song suggests there should have been more. Epecially involving SRK.

रंग  दे बसंती (2006)

खून चला

Images captured thru collage of emotions. And when your whole world turns upside down around you, how does one feel? when all of your ideals and thoughts seem meaningless - how does one react? Take a look at Atul Kulkarni in this song.  Fantastic reactions.
